Daniela Mura begins to study  music very early and since she is seven she takes part in regional and national concerts. In 1981 and 1982 she wins the Italian Trophy of Electronic Organ in Ancona.

When she is twelve she enroles at the course of piano in the academy of music "Conservatorio Pierluigi da Palestrina" in Cagliari. Since 1989  she continues to take part in many festivals and she wins the second national contest "Città di Cagliari" and twice the "Electone Yamaha Festival": first in juniores category and, the following year, as seniores.

When she is sixteen she arrives third in the South-Europe final of Electone Festival in Palma de Mallorca.

In 1993 she takes the degree of pianist under the guidance of Prof. Gabriella Artizzu. Subsequently she devotes herself to teaching piano and Electone Organ in several institutions and for the "Associazione Cdmi Music School" where she is the President, in the meanwhile she perfects the study of  piano,  theaching method and  composition. In 1997 she publishes her first CD "A Whole New World", appreciated by pubblic and critics, followed by many other recordings.

She is a pianist accompanist in the singing course of the Civic Music School of Cagliari.

Of late she played in concerts in Castelfidardo, Tenerife (Spain), St. Jean de Maurienne (France), Palencia (Spain) Alghero and Cagliari.

Mercoledì 13 giugno 2007 ha conseguito la laurea in di M° accompagnatore e collaboratore al pianoforte, completando gli studi, presso il Conservatorio "G. P. Da Palestrina" di Cagliari, del Biennio superiore sperimentale di II livello. Daniela ha presentato una tesi dal titolo "Quando la musica è al servizio del dramma" incentrata sul secondo atto dell'Opera Lirica  "Rigoletto" di Giuseppe Verdi.
